The essentials: the service is rolling monthly, you can cancel at any time, and the website itself is supplied as a RENTAL service — YOU DO NOT OWN THE SITE. Your own logos, photographs and other applicable intellectual property remain yours.

Klik Sites is a trading name of Klik Digital Marketing Ltd (also referred to as “we”, “our” and “us”), registered in England and Wales, company number 12496622. We are based at Bennett House, Pleasley Road, Whiston, Rotherham, S60 4HQ.

Use of Klik Sites and acceptable use
Some areas or additional services may have extra terms, for example domain or hosting purchases. Your use of our website-building service means you agree to this acceptable-use policy, which supplements these terms.
The service is designed for a standard business website. “Unlimited pages” means normal, routine, non-file-distribution use—typically up to 50 pages. It does not include mass-produced geographical search pages or similar bulk page distribution. For sites offering video, audio or other file downloads, we reserve the right to impose a bandwidth limit of 250GB per calendar month.
You must not damage or disrupt our services; attempt unauthorised access; distribute unlawful, defamatory, offensive, obscene or spam material; violate another person’s rights or privacy; make fraudulent orders; or infringe intellectual-property rights.

Business hosting and an SSL certificate, giving visitors the secure padlock in their browser.
A control panel for setting up IMAP/POP3 email accounts for desktop and mobile devices.
Domain
One .co.uk domain, or transfer of your existing domain for use with the website.
Ownership, content updates and site refreshes
You retain ownership and all applicable intellectual property rights in the photographs, logos and other materials you supply to us. As Klik Sites operates as a website-rental service, we retain ownership of the website itself, together with the associated hosting account and SSL certificate.
All routine content updates you request—including changes to text, images and blog posts—are included throughout your rental period.
If you would like to refresh the overall look or layout of your website, one major design and layout refresh is included on request after each completed 12-month rental period. Additional site refreshes can be provided for an extra charge; please contact us for details.
Our commitment and your commitment
We try to keep our websites accurate and up to date. If you spot something that needs correcting, please email us. In return, you agree to follow these terms and any additional terms applying to services you choose.
You are responsible for safeguarding passwords and login details. Material sent to us is not treated as confidential unless we have expressly agreed otherwise.
If these terms are breached
We may issue a warning, remove material, suspend or terminate access or subscriptions, and take reasonable steps to prevent further misuse. If misuse causes us or an associated company loss, damage or costs, you may be responsible for reimbursing them.
Liability
If something we do or fail to do causes loss or disruption of service, our maximum liability is limited to the affected period at the rate paid for that service.
Although we take reasonable steps to provide a fast, reliable service, we cannot accept responsibility for loss or corruption of data, infection of equipment, hacker security breaches, or consequential loss caused by a site being unavailable or functioning incorrectly. Maintenance and software updates may occasionally cause temporary disruption.
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
Cancellation and your legal rights
There is no lengthy contract: the agreement runs monthly and you can cancel at any time. When the service ends, the rented website terminates and we do not provide a copy of it.
If you originally supplied the domain, we will return it subject to receiving the necessary transfer information. Please arrange transfer before cancellation to avoid risking loss of the domain. If we supplied the domain and you cancel within the first six months, the fee to retain it is £25 + VAT. After six months, you can take it free of charge.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Depending on your location, you may have additional legal rights, and independent legal advice may be appropriate.
Links and intellectual-property rights
Our website may link to third-party sites, resources or advertisements. Once you leave our site, we are not responsible for their content, products, services or your dealings with their operators.
Except for materials you supply, copyright and other intellectual-property rights in our text, graphics, media, data, software, organisation and layout belong to Klik Digital Marketing Ltd, its associated companies or licensors. They may not be copied, altered, published, distributed, sold or transferred without prior written permission.
Changes, privacy and cookies
We may amend these terms. The version displayed here is the current version, so please revisit this page occasionally.
